snallemap
Hello again Php Freaks! Now i already have a thread where i have gotten alot of help, but i ran into a little situations, and i think its best to get it all set before you get started, so my question is: What MySQL is the best one for training purposes, such as offline websites..... I don't plan on putting the website online before its done since that would just be waste especially since i have no skills in it and therefore no clue when i will be done with my little project. I hope you can answer pretty quick as im sitting right now and wanna get started ^^,

Or well it does connect and it says running but i cannot connect to localhost o.x so no phpmyadmin for me, any other ideas for a good mysql system? snallemap
Alright, i have now tried it out... But i ran into a few problems.... I can get my php tested, but when i try out my login it cannot connect to the database which results in the fact that i cant really test it anyways. Any solutions? Garethp
Well I've never used xampp, but I know that Zend Community Edition or EasyPHP works REALLY well
zq29
Or, you could just install MySQL on its own, crazy idea, I know. http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/#downloads
