How to convert a word document into PDF???

Does anyone know any scripts or tuts that i can check out to convert a word type of document like rtf, doc, docx etc into a pdf file?

 

I need to save the files into a mysql database and save it on the server as a pdf file

 

It can be either free script or a paid script or tutorial w.e works

The newer versions of word work with xml. I don't know much about the subject but I would think this would be an easier route. Then you could use apache fop to make your pdf. Hope this helps.

That is client side not server side. If you have doc files on a web server and want to serve them as PDFs to a user you require server side conversion tools.
