jacko_162 Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 I added all the jquery stuff for jgrowl onto a test site im working on. basically i want to show the notification using jquery that a user has logged on. how can i achieve this? can anyone help me please? i was thinking when NEW session starts show "NOTIFICATION" else ignore if your session isnt new. can this be done? thanks in advance. Philip Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 If you're wanting to use jQuery for it, you'd need to keep pinging a server side script to check for recently logged in users. If any are found since the last ping, display a growl.
