PHP programming tasks/ideas/missions

are there webpages or topics where people give a little task, what to do in php and you go and try to do it?

or maybe this can be this topic ?

 

why i need this:

1) lack of imagination

2) i wanna learn the language, but im pretty sure starting from API letter 'A' is not the answer

 

i'm sure there are others like me out there, that wanna learn programming, but just doing those hello world proggies isn't the best they can do.

It seems like you created your own assignment: create a website where you can post tasks for other people to do and rate/comment on.

I'd suggest also going through the help forums and working on problems other people are having. That can really help you understand the language + avoid common mistakes/problems.
