textarea problem

Hi.

 

I have a poblem with my textarea.

 

I load some text from a file into a textarea, but when I do so there comes some empty space before the text.

The empty space that comes is about as much as 3 tap clicks.

 

Whats the problem?

Okey, here is the code:

as requinix already said, use trim($data)

If you have a space between the opening and closing textarea tags, this will become a space inside the textarea. Usually whitespace doesn't matter in HTML, but it does with textareas. Remove all whitespace and have the tags one after the other like this:

 

<textarea name="something"></textarea>
