Rommeo
I m gonna order an iphone, one is : Apple iPhone 4 Black Smartphone 16GB (AT&T) which is $700 other is : Apple iPhone 4G 16GB Quadband World GSM Phone (Manufacturer Unlocked) $950 I m gonna use the phone in Europe with local company's simcard.. But these things makes me wonder; What is this AT&T ? Why there is price difference, are the iphones different ? Is it possible to use AT&T phone with local company's simcard ? Philip
AT&T is a phone company in the states. You'll want an unlocked phone if you're not using AT&T. .josh
More specifically, AT&T is the carrier - the provider of the cell phone service, where you would subscribe to your phone's services (phone service, data plan, etc...) - who you would be paying your monthly phone bill to.
