devWhiz
The program found here http://www.myadtoolz.com/download/cpuid.zip shows a cpuid? I dont know what that is but it seems unique for every system, I feel this could be the way to have scripts that I sell verify with the user, how would I make a script to find that cpuid? thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/233562-how-to-find-the-cpuid-with-php/ Share on other sites
QuickOldCar
It's not unique for every system. Now if a combination of that cpu id, the computer name, and some other hardware comparisons then could be a unique value. As to the answer of how to make this, I'm not sure. requinix
You can't get that kind of information from a remote user. Not without them running some kind of Flash, Java, or ActiveX control.
