otuatail
Hi Having problems with http://validator.w3.org/ Claims No Character encoding declared at document level, but it is clearly there above <html> Also Why can't I have border="0" on an image. If I remove it I will have a border around the image. I have used this before without any errors http://www.des-otoole.co.uk/streetangels/News/Replies2.php?Thread=4a6045c2e05ebe5148e616746d2b80bb TIA Desmond. mikhl
you cant use border="0" in an XHTML document due to the new standards. in your css, try placing img { border:0; } instead. Pikachu2000
There's no character encoding information there that I can find; just a DOCTYPE declaration . . . <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> <html> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="imagetoolbar" CONTENT="no"> <LINK rel="stylesheet" href="../SAYstyle.css" type="text/css"> <TITLE>Message Board Replies</TITLE> </HEAD> Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/233948-problems-with-httpvalidatorw3org/#findComment-1202625 Share on other sites
