I looooooooooove the web developer toolbar.

 

Somethings it has that firebug doesn't (or does better than firebug IMO):

  • Easily see validation (a green check, or red x) for CSS & html
  • Easily get to what is normally a somewhat lengthy process to cache and cookie options (such as disabling cache, clearing cookies on this domain, etc)
  • Gets you a lot of information (although you may not need it too often) quickly, that is typically a manual process - see screenshot 1 [info.jpg]
  • And provides some tools for quick QA, e.g. validate local HTML (if you have a PHP file that produces dynamic HTML this is super handy) - see screenshot 2 [tools.jpg]
