PHP 6 has been shelved () until further notice, and any books you may find on it could easily be incorrect by the time it actually comes out - and last I knew there weren't any plans for that happening. Also, mysqli is not a language or syntax or whatever. There isn't really anything to learn for it. (Sorry, no book recommendations from me.)
