Hi
I'm trying to create a table using php script, but keep getting this error;
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in  c:\...   on line 17

Here is php code;
<?php
// Make a MySQL Connection
mysql_connect("host", "user", "pass") or die(mysql_error());
mysql_select_db("test") or die(mysql_error());

// Create a MySQL table in the selected database
mysql_query("CREATE TABLE 'example' (
  'id' varchar(11) NOT NULL,
  'total_votes' int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
  'total_value' int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
  'used_ips' longtext,
  PRIMARY KEY  ('id')
) TYPE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=3 ;

or die(mysql_error());

echo "Table Created!";

?>

Please help me regarding this, I'm novice user corect code or detail help will be appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply! :)

after correction of  " and )  I got this error:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '
'example' ( 'id' varchar(11) NOT NULL, 'total_votes' int(1

Please help again.

Or dropping the backticks entirely.
Seriously... if people don't start reading this before posting, I'm going to consider not answering at all.
