dadamssg87
Is it illegal for me to obtain a hosting account from a company and then design a client's website and then charge them for me to host it onto my hosting account? Obviously the hosting provider would like to have each website have their own account. I'm wondering if it's legal or not. premiso
As long as it is not against the Hosts TOS, it should be fine. You are a paying customer and you can generally use it how you want as long as you obey the hosts TOS / AUP. xylex
Why not just get an actual reseller account? You can get a decent one for less than $20/month. You can charge your customers whatever you want, and you take what you charged the customer(s) minus what you paid and that's how much you make off of it. .josh
yeah...it's not illegal as in against the law, but a most hosts have it against their ToS to do something like that...that's why they have separate "reseller" plans, specifically for that purpose.
