DataRater Posted July 20, 2011 Share Posted July 20, 2011 Chrome and Firefox on Ubuntu and XP The following code appears to be looking at the cache before downloading so it is not picking up my latest maps data. downloadUrl("./DomXml.xml",true, function(data,responseCode) How can I force it to pull the latest version in from the server? requinix Posted July 20, 2011 Share Posted July 20, 2011 A cheap fix would be downloadUrl("./DomXml.xml?" + new Date().getTime(),true, function(data,responseCode) { A better fix would be to adjust whatever caching mechanisms are in place so that the file isn't being cached (or is but appropriately).
