Hi all,

I was wondering if the following is possible :

I have written a web application in PHP with about 80 files in a directory structure.

Is it possible to "package" all these files (like zip them) and then upload this package to the client's server and use it as it is ?

In the past I found something, I think using PEAR and create a specific file, please send your ideas if possible.

Thank you.

Nothing wrong with zipping them and uploading them to a client server. Just be sure to use relative paths within your application & probably a config file that'll need some editing.

I think using PEAR might be overkill unless you're wanting a lot of people to get it. Just my $0.02

I don't mean zipping them really...it was an example.

I mean if there is a way (maybe some command line tool) to produce one PHP file from all the PHP files that I have in the project (in a specific directory structure) and upload and call this PHP file or whatever it would finally be.

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
