nexus76
Hey Guys, I need a solution for uploading very large files. As I found PHP has some memory limits. Is it even possible to upload files with a size of 4GB? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/247061-uploading-very-large-files-4gb/ Share on other sites
AyKay47
change the directive "upload_max_filesize" in your php.ini file Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/247061-uploading-very-large-files-4gb/#findComment-1268795 Share on other sites

requinix
You might start running into platform restrictions at that size. Does phpinfo() say that those two values have changed to 5000M? What happens if you try a file too large? AyKay47
the "memory_limit" directive should always be greater than the "upload_max_filesize" directive Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/247061-uploading-very-large-files-4gb/#findComment-1268808 Share on other sites

AyKay47
memory_limit = 64M (issue) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/247061-uploading-very-large-files-4gb/#findComment-1268827 Share on other sites
nexus76
AyKay47, the memory limit could even be set to 8192M, but only if I had so much RAM, right? Or does the overflow get swapped to the disk? I read about some issues giving PHP so much RAM.
