aj123cd
I really love the new BBC web site, I want to build similar one and I thought they were using jquer y/JS, but they are not using it. Then what programming language are they using? Could anyone advise me? Thanks.
ManiacDan
They include 6 different jquery modules on the landing page. I'm pretty sure that's all jquery.

That means they are not using js or I am missing something? thank you

ManiacDan
I get the same page KingPhilip gets. Did you refresh the page as I stated?
aj123cd
To disable JS, I am following these steps. Tools ->internet option -> security ->custom level ->settings – scripting – disable. When refresh the page http://www.bbc.co.uk/?dzf=default&focusedpane=center It works.
ManiacDan
Well this isn't Windows Tech Support forums. The BBC website absolutely changes to the screenshot posted earlier in firefox and chrome with scripts disabled. You're obviously not disabling scripts properly or your page is cached or some other problem with your computer.
Philip
Tools ->internet option -> security ->custom level ->settings – scripting – disable That has the exact same result as the screenshot I posted above.

Philip
Ok, With out JS , can I run slideshow? You can't run that one, but you could use flash or something like it to run a different one.
