artka54
Hello! Well this is my first live website besides WP blogs. I tested it on all major web browsers and resolutions, the only problem was with Internet Explorer 8. http://motivationtemple.com Thanks. QuickOldCar
You should break up all the posts into that site into their own pages and paginate them. Instead of having your sections as a page, it could be a category. I know it seems fine now, but when you get more will take forever to load, also would be better for seo purposes. spiderwell
I would say the iamges are far too heavy at 1.5meg each, you really need to optimise those, it takes 5 seconds to load for me and in the meantime i get ugly blank screen. I think the probverb and image should be linked, and change together, but what found rather odd was the font size changing depending on the quote, rather than say the box expanding to fit the text. artka54
sorry for late posting, but thanks for all the answers I have a question regarding spiderwell post - what is the best way to optimise those pictures? Thank you! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/256483-relaxation-and-motivation-website/#findComment-1318144 Share on other sites
Stiver112
I dont see the image size problem... Most people have fast internet now adays and it dont take more than a second or so to load the images... I dont know what the format is...but if you change it to a .png image it might reduce the size of the image--- Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/256483-relaxation-and-motivation-website/#findComment-1318314 Share on other sites
spiderwell
not everyone has blinding fast internet, and jpeg compression is the best way to optimize the images. you would want to get them down to 20% of the size they are now, at 1.5meg per image as a web graphic is far too large. artka54
Thanks. I reduced to ~300kb except for one which is 500kb. Is it good?
