yoursurrogategod
Hi, I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise. I went to modify my path (which is listed below, no there are no new lines in it, those are there to make it more readable): %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\; C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin;C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\django\bin;C:\Python27;C:\server\php;C:\server\mysql\bin;C:\XAMPP\php; C:\XAMPP\htdocs\cakery\cake\console;C:\Program Files\WinMerge;C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\;; C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\FUNCTION;C:\Program Files\nano\nano-2.2.6\nano.exe; C:\Program Files\Vim\vim73\gvim.exe;C:\Program Files\Vim\vim73\vim.exe Now, when I run something like vim.exe, I get this: H:\>vim.exe 'vim.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. What am I doing wrong? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/266123-unable-to-succesfully-modify-windows-path/ Share on other sites
Philip
The actual filename shouldn't be included in the path. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/266123-unable-to-succesfully-modify-windows-path/#findComment-1363731 Share on other sites
