erdavis
I have a piece of code which is turning a MySQL query into an associative array, but unfortunately the column names are currently hard coded. I need to make the piece of code more "future" proof and I would like to use the column names from the DB to replace "sku, fits" within the loop creating the array. Table - (example) UID sku fits 1 shirt small 2 jacket medium 3 pants large $query = "SELECT * FROM Table ORDER by sku ASC"; $result=mysql_query($query) OR die(mysql_error()); while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) { $resultArray[] = array('sku' => $row['sku'], 'fits' => $row['fits']); } Any thoughts or suggestions? erdavis
Thanks, I guess I was just making it things more complicated by hard coding the array keys.
