Merging 2 (almost similar) Tables - Newbie

Hello everyone,

First of all, I am using MySQL version 5.5.21-55.

Now my problem is, I have an old database which has tables prefixed as wp_. I have forms, etc within the db.

I have recently changed my hosting and therefore transferred my site over. I am using Wordpress. My new hosting (unfortunately) I have set the tables prefix as bawp_.

Now I realized I have duplicate tables everywhere and the old one doesn't work (obviously).

I am not that familiar with databases (never was my favorite subject in college :P) and I am using phpMyAdmin currently.

Can someone guide me what to do step by step as I really don't want to mess up the database I have.

Thanks!
