Php Reading A .doc Or A File So I Can Import It In My Mysql

Hi there , it is my first time here so please be patient,

 

I don't know if i can ask this here so ant corrections are welcome .

 

So, I am trying to read a file with php without loose my paragraphs and bold atributes ,

 

and then to import it in my mysql .!

and when someone want to call this document , he can see it with paragraphs and etc

 

Any help - redirection - book - tutorial - or any kind of guide lines would be appreciated

 

I am trying to figure it out but i dont know where to start searching

The conventional is approach is not to store files in the database. Store them in the filesystem on the server and store details of the file in the DB.
