RyanDillion
I wanted to know how much users do you think I could have if I had all average users on a cpanel plan. Each one having 5GB of storage each. I am just worried about the server not handling clients. I have the following specs. 1.2TB of Storage 1x Quad Core Intel Xeon 2.4Ghtz 8GB Ram Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/271380-how-many-clients-could-i-have/ Share on other sites
MDCode
Around 200 users assuming you keep it at 5GB and don't use much space for the website itself. Adam
Perhaps capacity wise, but until you get those users you don't know how much resource each website will suck up. RobertP
you will have to look at what your clients can do.. 1. how many websites can each client host? 2. is there a dedicated amount of ram for each client / site? 3. do you offer any other services that will be on the same machine, such as mysql, memcache, ect.. also keep any eye on bandwidth.. as it only takes 1 script to take off out of control and then you have tb's gone (happen to me once) (just some thinking material xD) Edited November 30, 2012 by RobertP Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/271380-how-many-clients-could-i-have/#findComment-1396507 Share on other sites
