Help a beginner with MSQL connection issues

Hi guys, 

 

Im new to coding, learning fast! I have built a simple social networking website and im trying to implement a chat system on my site..

 

im using this resource. http://old.ajaxim.com/

 

Im following the database connection and i get this error..

This may seem like a lame question, but how do i configure this to connect to my database :/

The error is pretty self explanatory. The user named "user" does not have permission to acces the mysql server hosted on localhost using no password.
