dchillman
I have a URL that returns JSON data. When I type the URL in the browser, a page displays with the text version of the data. How do I execute the URL and capture the data from a PHP script? I thought about the header(location:...) but that doesn't return a result. URL: https://myURL.com/services.php?sname=LoginService&username=davec@davec.com&password=msnthrp1&listaccounts=true JSON: {"result":"OK","id":"0996-5c41-b5afd54d","lastLogin":"2013-04-19 11:33:15","accounts":[{"accountName":"DeLong","systemId":"3x1x4x","passcode":"ZoTda9egUoLBOdd0","url":"https:\/\/my.granted.com:30440\/"},{"accountName":"Traveling Demo Unit","systemId":"3x1x4x","passcode":"UBUZYZVgQQLAV9Q0","url":"https:\/\/my.granted.com:30384\/"}]} Names and passwords have been changed to protect the innocent. requinix
file_get_contents() works just fine with URLs. json_decode(file_get_contents("URL")) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/277156-capture-json-structured-data-returned-from-url/#findComment-1425866 Share on other sites
