CBI Web
After being away from coding for three years I find I'm not only a bit rusty but also behind the times (as one would expect)! I'd like to find some online tutorials that will teach me current standards rather than those that are deprecated or soon to be deprecated. When searching the Web I come across many tutorials, but have no way of knowing for sure how up-to-date they are. I see there are some tuts here on PHP Freaks. Are they current? I mean no insult to anyone by asking that, just want to be sure before diving in. Thanks for any direction you can give. mac_gyver
the php.net documentation contains version migration summaries in an appendix. reading those will bring you up to date on what has changed and what has been depreciated or removed at each major version so that you can identify information that is out of date. CBI Web
True, that would be the best way to go about it. Thanks! Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/277749-looking-for-current-tutorials/#findComment-1429203 Share on other sites
