dooper3
Hi,I am trying to switch my layout to a nice 3 column one that adjusts the shorter columns as the page loads to make sure all are the same length (using javascript rather than CSS hacks). It works brilliantly in netscape and firefox, but when I try it in IE (both 6 and 7) the page title (as in window title, not h1) loads but the page is blank (but if you look at the source it's all there?!!Before you ask, yes I do have javascript turned on!Can anyone point out what the problem might be? fenway
And without the JS hacks?
dooper3
didn't know there were any - you can see for yourself the js file is at http://www.sulsc.org/test/includes/matching_columns.js
ToonMariner
you have created the site in strict xhtml so why not just use the css to do this. JS should only be used for document effects, not page design.
dooper3
Becuase I'm not that good with css and can't find a good tutorial that covers all the hacks needed! If you can point me in the direction of one that'd be cool.
