So here's the problem. An internal company sharepoint site does not provide any in-built site stats like traffic, page visits, etc. So how can I use a workaround to collect and analyse website stats without using a database on this ftp?

I could store files on a different site and measure downloads from there. What else?

Could I for example use php to collect stats and send it to another ftp mysql database?

Any ideas?
