alpine
After the release of IE7, the IE6 was replaced making it impossible to test webapplications on both IE versions from the same computer. Still, the bug-reports on IE7 is growing and Microsoft has even issued a IE7 "update blocker" to prevent it from downloading for those who won't take the risk (yet). This boils down to the fact that we need to continue backward compability in webapplications to cover both IE6 and IE7 for quite some time in the future. And then i found this useful free program to Install multiple versions of IE on the same PC. I have been testing it a while now and it seems good so far. It installs IE3, IE4.01, IE5.01, IE5.5 and IE6 in addition to the IE7 you might already have installed.By all means - personally i dislike IE so this is absolutely no promotion of IE or the program publisher at all, i still cannot build webapplications without supporting at least IE6 and IE7.Program (free download) and notes is found here: http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/29407-ie7-older-ie-versions-at-the-same-time/ Share on other sites
