0x00
Hi, I've been using Opera recently, and every few refreshes I get a download dialog, but tonight I'm getting one on every refresh. The source is from cm.g.doubleclick.net and it tries to open using xdg-open. On a side note, I'm using Opera because it tells me how many elements the page loads, here its anywhere from 78 to 138, now I know from looking at the source that surely isn't what's expected, so I'm guessing it adverts again. requinix
You're talking about ads being shown here, right? Can you provide more details about which ad? Like the full path to it? All we can do is report the bad ad. In the meantime I suggest doing something to block the downloads *coughoruseadblock*.
0x00
Well, its all suddenly stopped!? The ones being displayed on the page were Cisco Ex something ads.
requinix
If you see them again, try to get the full URL to the ad. We can then submit it to our advertisers who can do something from there.
0x00
Just tried to save one and nothing saves... The filename given is "push". In Opera's Downloads section it listed the following as "from": https://cm.g.doubleclick.net/push?client=ca-pub-8794381281316343&srn=gdn and reports the filesize as 0B
requinix
Empty for me too. I don't know why Opera is downloading it. There's nothing indicating it should be downloaded. Can you see what the request and response headers are for it?
