PHP password encryption mechanism HELP !

I recently purchased a Social Network PHP script form a company BlueboxPHP also know as ProWebDeveloper.

 

I had another company i paid called cometchat to install and integrate their cometchat chat plugin to my site for me .

 

I also paid them $399 to make an iOS and Android app for the cometchat on my website.

 

They came back while making both with the same issue / question for me .............................

 

I have made several attempts to contact the publisher of my the script i use for the information they have asked but no reply.

 

HELP someone if you can or please direct me to the proper forum .

We have successfully built your android app. However, we are unable to find your password encryption mechanism.

We have uploaded chatlogin.php in /cometchat folder. Please configure code in chatlogin.php file such that the below URL should return userid of the user :

http://societalportal.com/cometchat/chatlogin.php?username=test1@societalportal.com&password=123456

Please configure the chatlogin.php file in such a manner that it should display us the user id of the currently logged in user.

For example:

Suppose userid of user 'test1' is '1' then on hitting above URL in browser. It should return user's userid i.e. 1.

Alternatively, provide us with encryption mechanism of password on your site so that we can proceed to configure the chatlogin() function.

LanceL, are you looking to hire/pay somebody to solve this for you? Or were you looking more for help with PHP so you can do it yourself?
