FreddoB Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 I have the following that works fine and returns the item and quantity but returns a blank line for every non-selected item. <?php$plantname1 = $_POST['plantname1'];$quantity1 = $_POST['quantity1'];foreach($_POST['plantname1'] as $key => $plantname1) { $quantity1 = isset($_POST['quantity1'][$key])? $_POST['quantity1'][$key]:'Not selected'; if($quantity1 != 0); else ($plantname1 = ''. $quantity1 = '') ; $message[ ] = $quantity1.' '. $plantname1 ;} echo implode('<br>', $message);?> I've tried various ways of stripping the empty lines but nothing is working. Any suggestions? requinix Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 If it doesn't do what you want then it doesn't work fine. Your if block is useless. Semicolons end statements, even if that statement is empty. if($quantity1 != 0); else ($plantname1 = ''. $quantity1 = '') ;If true then do nothing else do nothing.
