I have a form (just a test for my larger form), with this as the html form

<html>
<body>
<form action="test.php" method="post">
<select name="test"><option>Paypal</option></select>
<input type="submit">
</form>
</body>
</html>

and this is the php form that should display "Paypal" when submit is pressed.

<?php
$var = $_POST['test'];

echo $var;
?>

It doesn't show that though.  It will display text inputs, but it won't display my drop down box info.  Can someone please help me?  This should probably be really easy.
