dub_beat Posted February 2, 2007 Share Posted February 2, 2007 Heya, This is the first time that ive installed apache. it installed successfully but when i type "http://localhost" to see the default apache page in my browser nothing happens. it just hangs. could somebody help me? calabiyau Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 did you do the standard installation on port 80 or as a development machine on port 8080?
