A simple Question...

You could write a game in PHP, I've done it a few times. You could use any web language, other good ones might be RoR or Java. If you want to make desktop software rather than a browser-based game, you'll want to use a language such as Java, C++

Oh... Well... I want to make a game like a game I have been playing for a very long time. If you have ever heard of it, the game is called "Runescape". I think it's players movements and everything is very good. If you have heard of it, then could you tell me {if it's possible} what it's made up of?

If not, then I just want 1 type of language that the most MMORPGS are made up of. {or the most popular}

Thanks.

What do you mean by "desktop games"? And Browser games? I would like to make a game in the form of "Runescape". Please take a look at how this game was made and if possible tell me if it was a desktop game or a browser game. { http://thewwra.com }

Go:

1. Click on Play Runescape (Exisiting User) (You might have to click on it twice)

2. Go to  any detail you want.

3. Click on any NON MEMBER WORLD.

4. I have set up an account for you to see... The Username is 9        5o ... There is 9 spaces between the 9 and the 5o and the password is infinitephp

5. Post back on here telling me what language is used in this game and if it is a desktop or browser game.

THANKS!
