kenrbnsn
If you use double quotes to enclose your string, you need to escape the double quotes in the string with backslashes. Either use single quotes to enclose the string or use singles quotes within the string. The following four examples are all valid and will produce the same results: <?php print "<table class=\"thumbnails\" width=\"998\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"2\"><tr>"; ?> <?php print '<table class="thumbnails" width="998" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2"><tr>'; ?> <?php print "<table class='thumbnails' width='998' border='0' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='2'><tr>"; ?> <?php print '<table class=\'thumbnails\' width=\'998\' border=\'0\' cellpadding=\'0\' cellspacing=\'2\'><tr>'; ?> The one you choose is up to you, but I prefer using the formats that don't require the backslash for escaping.
