Okay so Im setting this up and im at the part where I have to connect to Mysql Host. I set the Host Address as localhost, the username as root, my password ******, port 3306, and database as mangos_bc;realmd_bc

When I click connect it gives me this.

Error: 1045 SQLSTATE: 28000 (ER_ACCESS_DENIED_ERROR)

Message: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: Yes)

How do I get past this? Thanks for the help.

Oh Im using version 5.0.37-win32

Can you post your code (with the password removed of course)

The error means that it didn't recognize your username and password.  It may be because they are incorrect, or it may be because they weren't passed correctly.  There's other possibilities too, so first I want to see that your code is passing them to mysql correctly :)

Sorry Im an >extreme< noobie at this, what do you mean by code? =/

This is what happened. I originally downloaded MySQl and I set something up. And I followed a link onto a "personal" website of my server. It had a list of stuff where I can edit and all that. Then I edited something about a password, from no password to yes password, never had a chance to type anything in and if i did type anything it was my dogs name, as its my password for everything. WHen I set that it kicked me off and forever tells me access denied for error 1045 =/
