php_b34st Posted March 8, 2006 Share Posted March 8, 2006 To check if an email was sent succesfully you could use:
<?php$to = 'example@example.com';$from = "example@example.com";$mesg = "Message to be sent"; if (mail($to, $subject, $mesg, $from)){ echo 'Email succesfully sent';}else{ echo 'Could not send email.';}?>
I'm not sure how to check if the email was recieved if thats what you meant. txmedic03 Posted March 8, 2006 Share Posted March 8, 2006 The only way you can be sure the user received it is by requesting a confirmation by that user or by storing the message in a mysql database and sending them an e-mail that says come get your message. When they come to the site have it send you a message that says user received their message. I don't know what you are specifically trying to do, but these are just the thoughts that spring to mind.
