larry777
Greetings! I manage a static website built in PHP. I now need to look at migrating this site to SharePoint. Is there anyone out there who has experience of this and can give a few tips or poiint me in the general direction of where to find some info on this Cheers! ober
Why on earth would you want to make that switch? Sharepoint is nothing but a fancy fileserver. You lose all options of providing dynamic content (even though you said you're working with a static website). Why limit yourself? stricks1984
Hello, I'm not looking to switch to Sharepoint, but my "uppers" already use Sharepoint while all of our websites use PHP. Instead of creating a whole new management system by scratch with PHP/SQL I'm looking for a way to interact with Sharepoint using PHP. Is there any known API for this? Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Brian Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/49652-php-to-sharepoint-migration/#findComment-330954 Share on other sites
neylitalo
I very highly doubt that Microsoft has provided any sort of interface with which to interact with SharePoint. Microsoft is very rarely inclined to let other people (gasp!) interface with their software.
