freakstyle
Hi, I am a fairly new member to this site/forum and have not had much chance to look around at the other sections of phpfreaks.com. Today I tried to checkout the live chat, but ran into an issue. I'm not considered a member of phpfreaks.com. We don't know each other but, I would like to suggest that there be a single point to login and have the user information shared across the different sections of your site. Its cool to have different profiles for each section, so to keep the shared data relevant I just find it could really improve your users experience to be considered one member across the site. Thanks for your consideration. FreakSumStyle and Live your Existence. Daniel0
The live chat is based on a channel on freenode's IRC server. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/50883-registrationfor-phpfreakscom/#findComment-250406 Share on other sites
ober
We know there are different logins for the site and the forums. In the future we are planning to integrate them. However, the forums software has changed and the site was written seperately from the forums long ago. Once we get around to re-writing the main site, I'll integrate it with the SMF software. SuperBlue
This again got somthing to do with registration on phpfreaks, i would just like to give you a friendly reminder that the Captcha on this forum is more then just hard, and the helping voice is useless most of the time. I've tested it by failing the Captcha around 10 times... First in IE, then in FF where i finaly managed to register. it is funny how those Captcha's gets harder and harder for humans to solve, the letters in this Captcha is impossible to view most of the time, i suggest improving it. Insted of making these things harder, perhaps they should include animation insted, and see how that works. I've never failed a Captcha more then once or twice, the Captcha on this forum is just ennoying. Luckly i managed to register in the end! ober
I don't know how many times I have to say this. We didn't write the Captcha for the forums! GO SUGGEST IT AT www.simplemachines.org! Daniel0
Noticed the link saying "Request another image". This will generate a new image with the same text. E.g. if you can't read character number 2 and 4, then try clicking that link and then maybe you can read them. I don't really have problems with the CAPTCHA images.
