Mysql backup

i have been trying to use your script \" Database Backup Utility \" without any joy, when i call the script i get a lot of errors that lead me to think i am not putting the full path to the directory in ok \" $savepath \".


any help would be brill :shock: before i go to mad

If u are using windows I would recommend sqlyog

www.sqlyog.com

This is a GUI based utility and taking backup is no more that tough :wink:

i have tried the program you suggested, but i cannot have access from a remote pc so this option will not work.

any other ideas you may have would be brill

Install phpmyadmin. It\'s web based so you can stick it under your webspace.

Hey, dude!

I\'ve tried this on a remote PC, and it worked easily! Just make sure, ya granted yourself the right to open the DB from an other computer...
ThiS SQLyog rules a lut!!! :D
