MemphiS
As root access i still cannot find where to edit the following files httpd.conf and the mysql folder. I login as root and get the long list of options that WHM offers but no where can i find where i can edit the things i need to. So if someone has used WHM and managed to find where httpd.conf is or how to get to it. And i realise that it is in /etc/ but the account i go to is a normal level at reseller to look in and httpd.conf etc... are hiden and i have no clue where i can edit them. Its getting extremly frustrating and annoying trying to find this and ive tried a few forums without getting anywhere so far except for a bigger headacke. So if you know where its located in WHM please post ???

steviewdr
If your reseller has some dark magic and strange permissions going on, it'd be best to pop them a simple email! They'd happily tell you straight off (if they are worth their salt). Also - does your Web Hosting company have a wiki or forum? Normally host specific details are discussed there. -steve
