[SOLVED] Help with echo

Recommended Posts

Hi. I am using this code to echo a column in my database. It works fine:

   while ($list = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {
      echo "{$list['CompanyName']} <br>";
   }

I would like to add another column to it. I've tried doing this but I get parse errors: {$list['CompanyName','email']}

How do I add more columns to the while statement? Ultimately I'd like the echo to print out 6 columns per row from the DB.

Thanks!

while ($list = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {

      echo $list['CompanyName']."<br>";

      echo $list['email']."<br>";

  }

or

while ($list = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {

      echo $list['CompanyName']."".$list['email'];

  }

You can specify the column like so:

while ($list = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {
    echo $list['CompanyName'] . "<br />";
    echo $list['anotherColumnName'] . "<br />";
}

Or echo all of them like :

while ($list = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) {
    foreach ($list as $key => $value) {
        echo $key . " = " . $value;
    }
}
