If you are looking to build a new social community, I certainly don't think you are going to win over sites like myspace. I really don't see any particular reason that anyone would want to sign up. I added a friends section that works simular to myspace, but that is supposed to be a small part of the site. The site will have: - Games - Web Search - Ebay Spy - Notes - Address book - Shout out box - YouTube Video of the day I don't want to turn this into a "Social Network" like myspace, but a small part of that built into the site. It is so hard to explain what this site is ment to do, since it is supposed to do so many random things, and basically combine lots of websites into one site. As you said... a "New" design... There are many companies that don't have to detail what they do because they are well known, but to start out you have to do some form of marketing and describe what people can do and why. Blogs? - Doesn't YouTube have video of the day, except they have one for each category?
