There aren't as many dangerous exploits released for it and worms are more likely to be attacking IIS instead.

 

It's multiplatform so if you ever want to use a different operating system, or work with somebody who does, you won't need to change anything or learn anything new.

 

I THINK it has better performance with PHP, but I'm not 100% absolutely positively sure.

If it does then that means you won't need as much/as expensive hardware to handle the same load that you would in IIS.

And thus, monetary savings (profits) on top of the obvious fact that it's free.
