PHP inside Javascript

hi all,

 

I have a javascript pop up and I want to fetch the data from PHP and display it, is it possible;

 

Can we use PHP inside javascript <script>.....</script> tag

 

I used like this but nothing showed up ;

 

var msgHeading = 'Get the latest information about the My Site <?php
rs['heading']?>';

var msgDesc = '<?php echo rs['description'];?>';

 

any solution for this

Try just:

<script language="text/javascript">

alert("<?php echo "Alert Message";?>");

</script>

i had installed Web Developer tool add-ons for FF and it shows this javascript error

 

Error: message is not defined

i saved this as php and still not working......

Jitesh's code worked fine

 

I had saved as html before, saving in .php solved the problem.

 

now going to check with my code...........
