[SOLVED] display Question

Hi,

 

I am able to print out my data in a table with no problems as such but I now need to tweek it a little and I am running into problems

The following takes up space and does not format well showing as

 

Mr  J  Brown

 

<td><?php print $row['Salutation']."\n"; ?></td>
    <td><?php print $row['Initial']."\n"; ?></td>
    <td><?php print $row['last_name']."\n"; ?></td>

 

What I want to produce is

 

Mr (J.) Brown-Esq.

 

Preferable in one line of code

 

I know this looks strange but it represents what I need in my application

 

I simply have a need to be able to insert  -,  (,  ),  and bold them and include some of the fields if required

Not sure what that -Esq was, so I just assumed as follows:

 

<?php echo "<td>".$row['Salutation']."</td><td><b>(".$row['Initial'].".)</b></td><td>".$row['last_name']."-Esq.</td>"; ?>
