I have a page that takes about 2 minutes to run and I don't want a user to wait until the script processes. How can this be accomplished? Jessica Posted December 20, 2007 Share Posted December 20, 2007 Mootools is a good JS library with Ajax support. But the user would still have to wait to see the results if you use ajax. You could use a cron job if you want it to run regularly. As jesirose just stated, if your page is dependent on user supplied input, they will need to wait anyway and what AJAX does do for a web page won't address the processing and waiting problem.
