ohdang888
i am installing a phpBB 3.0.0 forum on my site. i am a little confused with the installation instruciton though... at one point it says to: Change the permissions on config.php to be writable by all (666 or -rw-rw-rw- within your FTP Client) Change the permissions on the following directories to be writable by all (777 or -rwxrwxrwx within your FTP Client): store/, cache/, files/ and images/avatars/upload/. i don't understand what code i need to use to let it be writable by all!!! ??? ??? ??? Jessica
This should be in third-party scripts. As the errors say, you need to use your FTP client to change the permissions of those files. It depends on what client you're using, but try right clicking on the files and selecting Permissions. Then type in what the error says to.
