Daniel0
Multiple anti-virus programs may interfere with each other. I would suggest that you remove one of them. The Little Guy
I would strongly recommend Avast http://www.avast.com/eng/programs.html It scans as you browse the internet, basically it scans the page before you can view it. if it finds something it will ask you if you want to abort the connection. It scans downloads, as they download (P2P, web, IM, etc.) It updates its virus database with out you knowing It is Free for the home edition (works just as well as professional only its for one computer) Read more: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/82547-anti-virus/#findComment-419712 Share on other sites
tibberous
Avast has a shitty repair database, for a lot of viruses all it can do is detect them and then offer to delete the file, you have to get a better program to fix the files. Nothing beats zone alarm - firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware and program monitoring, all in one. wolfrat
AVG is definitely the best, and for windows servers, use nod32. Also AVG Anti-spyware is pretty good. cmgmyr
I second AVAST, I recommend it to everyone I know, it works great and catches a lot more then the "bigger" guys (norton and mcaffee) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/82547-anti-virus/#findComment-423572 Share on other sites
