Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 THAT IS A LOT OF FLASH! :-X the center of the body is nearly impossible to read with the white background. why would you not make the backup url on the portfolio page a link? the blue graphic at the top of the page in the header: is that a blue old lady bending over in front of me ?? the color scheme is good. akitchin Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 the logo looks like a modified republican party logo (ie. an elephant). to be honest, the site looks like it was made in 1999. i would question why you used flash - the animations are quite lacklustre and frankly the site could have just as easily been made using some AJAX spiffiness. overall, i would suggest reading some very basic design tutorials. if i was a client, i would skip over your company in a heartbeat (and to be honest, i almost didn't make it past the loading graphic). Most people won't wait that long, they will just move on. Users have short attention spans. Great graphics and effort (10) but the load is (-2) and then lack of content and overuse of effects (-1) making it a 10 - 2 -1 = 7 You really can't make a whole site with flash. That said, don't create your website in Flash - unless you are trying to make the world smallest website. Even that site isn't solid Flash.
